This Privacy Policy explains how BKeeperAI, LLC ("we," "our," "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal and financial information when you use our website, customer portal, or text-based expense services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect:

Information you provide. Receipts, photos, and text messages you send to Bee; contact information; and account details you enter in our portal.
Information collected automatically. Usage and analytics data when you visit our website or use the portal.
Bank and card account data. When you choose to connect a financial account, we collect account and transaction metadata through our integration partner, Plaid (see Section 5).
Data from tools you connect. If you choose to connect third-party tools to your account, we receive the data needed to provide those features.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Capture, categorize, and verify your expenses
Match transactions to receipts and keep your records synced
Create reports and summaries
Improve our automation and service quality
Communicate with you about your account
Comply with applicable laws

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. AI & Human Verification

BKeeperAI uses AI to read and categorize the receipts and information you send. Our process is AI Powered, Human Verified — a member of our team reviews entries for accuracy before they're finalized. AI tools process your data under secure agreements and only for expense and bookkeeping-related functions. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

5. Bank & Card Connections (Plaid)

If you use a paid plan, you can connect your business bank and credit card accounts using Plaid, a secure financial data network.

When you connect an account through Plaid:

You authorize BKeeperAI to use Plaid to connect the business bank and card accounts you select, import account and transaction metadata, match your spending to receipts, and store a secure access-token reference so Bee can keep your transactions synced.
Your bank login credentials are entered directly with Plaid. BKeeperAI does not receive or store your bank username, password, or other login credentials — we store only a secure access token that allows synced data to flow into your account.
You can unlink connected accounts at any time from your portal.

Plaid collects and uses your information in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy. BKeeperAI is the Plaid customer of record for this connection.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored securely. Only authorized staff can access it, and only as needed to provide the service. No online system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as needed to provide the service or to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting info@BKeeperAI.com.

8. Sharing of Information

We share data only with the partners and service providers we use to operate BKeeperAI, including:

Plaid — to connect and sync your bank and card accounts
Stripe — to process payments and manage subscriptions
Constant Contact — to send account and service-related email

We may also disclose information to legal authorities when required by law. We never share your data for advertising purposes.

9. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies for analytics and performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

10. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data, or request a copy, by contacting info@BKeeperAI.com. You may also unlink any connected bank or card account from your portal at any time.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy periodically. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of the revised Policy.
